Ryan is the founder and active owner of Stonewater Homes. Born and raised on Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore Ryan continues to build homes and develop land in the area where he spent his childhood years in addition to all other communities in the Greater Halifax area. After working in the Real Estate industry for many years, Ryan decided to dedicate his time to building homes and communities by applying his real estate knowledge and experience.

After 11 great years, Stonewater Homes continues to grow due to its reputation as one of Nova Scotia’s premier home builders. Ryan’s goal has always been to offer his clients the best value and unmatched customer service.

Kevin Grant

Project Manager

Kevin began his career in the construction industry as a teenager. Working alongside his father, an experienced contractor, he built a strong knowledge base and realized his interest in the industry at a young age.  Kevin went on to be owner and operator of his own construction company for many years before joining the Stonewater Homes team in 2017. With a wealth of industry knowledge, a variety of industry certifications and keen eye for detail, Kevin ensures a smooth experience for our clients.

Randy Sheen

Project Coordinator/Estimator

Randy brings nearly two decades of construction experience to the Stonewater team. He has extensive knowledge of home building from his previous work in contractor sales, estimating, project management and more.  Randy assists our Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of construction and estimating.  He enjoys being involved from start to finish with each home build, ensuring that we maximize efficiency in each and every project.

Laurie Ryer

Office Manager

Laurie is the master organizer of the Stonewater Homes office and plays an integral role in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly. She brings extensive experience in accounting and customer service to our team from a variety of other industries.  Laurie is also the first point of contact when calling the Stonewater office.  Our clients and industry partners can always count on Laurie for a warm welcome and highly dependable, professional service. 

Matt Brazil

Senior Carpenter

Matt is an in-house carpentry specialist. He joined the Stonewater Homes team in 2015 with extensive experience in residential carpentry.  Matt’s finely developed skills allow the creation of impressive finishing details in our homes.

John Durling

Carpenter

John is an in-house carpentry specialist.  He has an established background as a new construction carpenter.  John dedication to his craft ensures a superior result for each project that he tackles, large or small.
